Kafka Life Drawing × Dark Vibe Society present Metamorphosis a 2-hour life drawing ritual in Hyderabad where every pose is paired with storytelling and music drawn from Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis.
On Sunday 24 May, our model Bolt takes a pose. The storyteller opens Kafka. And what you draw isn't a body — it's a transformation in real time. Poses run from 1 to 20 minutes, with a 30-minute break in the middle.
This session is a feminist reimagining of Kafka's tale. Gregoria Samsa — a weary saleswoman — wakes to find her body no longer her own. Duty, exhaustion, and sacrifice twisted into something strange and monstrous. Across a series of poses, you'll explore the body as burden, insect, memory, and fragile remnant of identity.
