SAMAAJ by Jainil Mehta
SAMAAJ is a contemporary queer dance-theatre performance that explores the endurance of love across time. Created and performed by internationally acclaimed movement artist Jainil Mehta, the piece blends narrative, poetry, and choreography into an evocative experience.
In this intimate and emotionally layered performance, Mehta and co-performer Shubham Mahawar traverse memory, identity, and longing—asking if love can truly transcend the bounds of time and tradition. Accompanied by original music and lyrical storytelling, SAMAAJ invites the audience into a space where movement becomes memory and bodies become vessels of truth.
