Tango Workshop- Beyond Dance Festival

Join us on October 28th for a 90-minute Argentine Tango workshop designed for beginners. Essence of Tango will guide you through the basics of this passionate dance. No previous experience is required, just a desire to learn and dance! In this workshop, you will explore a new language where communication happens through your body. The subtle movements of the Argentine Tango will enable you to dance soulfully and socially in Milongas (Tango Socials). The workshop will focus on fundamental Tango concepts, including the walk, posture, embrace, turns, connection, and some basic steps.

About the facilitators- Ketaki Patil and Santak Das, a dynamic duo based out of Hyderabad, who are deeply passionate about Tango and focused on creating a vibrant Tango community in Hyderabad. With nearly 8 years of experience dancing Tango, both of them are working on enriching Hyderabad's Tango experience by taking classes, and organizing workshops, Milongas(socials), performances, and events in collaboration with fellow music and dance enthusiasts, Over the years they have refined their technique and learnt advanced concepts from global Tango champions such as Sebastian Jimenez, Joahana Gomes, Michael Nadtochi, Elvira Lambo, Natalia Aguero, Agustin Venturino, Viveka Cáceres, Martin Concha Méndez& Dominic Bridge among others.
