About The Event
After a soulful opening chapter in September, The Baithak Project returns with another intimate morning where music, art, and community come together.
This edition features Shanti Swaroop — a rare voice from Hyderabad who bridges tradition and modernity. A vocalist, composer, and teacher, Shanti’s music moves fluidly through Hindustani raagdari, Carnatic compositions, the romance of Thumri and Ghazal, and gentle Western fusions.
Joined by a stellar Hyderabad ensemble Sh. Vivek Kayal on Tabla, Sh. Rahul Deshpande on Harmonium, Vid Koundinya Pannala on Violin — weaving Hindustani raagdari, Carnatic compositions, Thumri, Ghazal, and gentle Western fusions. Shanti will lead us through 90–120 minutes of raga depth, lyrical beauty, and improvisations that feel both timeless and new. 🌸
