Voguing Workshop- Beyond Dance Festival

Discover the art of voguing and the movement where Gay liberation began in this 90-minute workshop with Jiya Labeija. In this workshop, you will learn a five step routine of Vogue Femme with a little history lesson of Ballroom scene where Queer Movement originated. About the Facilitator- Jiya Labeija is the mother of Indian Chapter of the Royak House of Labeija. The House of Labeija is the first ever house of the Ballroom in New York, started by Crystal Labeija as a reaction to the rascist pageant system.
